We were thrilled to host the entire West Boundary Elementary School for National Take Me Outside Day on October 18, 2023, which saw kids from kindergarten to grade seven explore the community forest,” noted Dan Macmaster, West Boundary Community Forest Manager.
“These kinds of activities are exactly what we want to see in our community forest; kids outside, having fun, and learning about the importance of their local forests. We will look to them to manage and care for the community forest in the future."
